Inspired by the animation done by Pentagram to celebrate the pioneering designer Muriel Cooper on the 50th anniversary of her joining the MIT Press. Experiments
Material Exploration
Typeface created by the dendritic printing technique. It involves using 2 glass or acrylic plates. Paint is applied on one and the 2 plates are pressed together tightly. When the plates are separated slowly, the air creates a vein-like pattern. The plate is then pressed onto paper to print the paint.
Recreating Fonts
Taking Hindustan Times' font as a reference and creating new letterforms following the same visual language.
